Energy-based treatments are powerful and skin-type-specific. The physician chooses among ablative fractional CO₂ resurfacing, non-ablative 1064nm Nd:YAG, broadband pulsed light (IPL) for pigment and vascular work, infrared skin tightening, vascular-targeting wavelengths, and follicle-disabling hair removal — per the indication, your Fitzpatrick skin type, and your tolerance for recovery. We test-patch when indicated, and we will say no to wavelengths that do not suit your skin.
