Medical Disclaimer

Last updated · May 15, 2026

1. Informational only

The content on esviemedicalspa.com — including treatment descriptions, candidacy notes, dosing ranges, and recovery information — is provided for general educational and informational purposes about cosmetic dermatology and the services offered at Esvie Medical Spa. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. No physician-patient relationship

Reading this site, submitting an inquiry, or scheduling a consultation does not by itself create a physician-patient relationship between you and Dr. Briana Brown, D.O., FAAD, or Esvie Medical Spa. A physician-patient relationship is established only after Dr. Brown has examined you in person, taken a complete history, and agreed to provide care.

Always seek the advice of a qualified physician with any questions you have about a medical condition or treatment.

3. Individual results vary

Cosmetic dermatology outcomes depend on many variables — your anatomy, skin type, medical history, the specific procedure, the products used, technique, post-treatment care, and time. Any descriptions of typical results, dose ranges, durations, or recovery timelines on this site are general references, not promises. Your individual results may differ from typical results.

Photographs of patient results, when shown, depict actual outcomes for the patients pictured and are used with their consent. They are not predictive of the result you will achieve.

4. Risks and complications

All medical procedures — including elective cosmetic procedures — carry risks. These can include but are not limited to: bruising, swelling, infection, allergic reaction, scarring, asymmetry, dissatisfaction with the result, vascular events, nerve injury, and other complications specific to the procedure.

Risks and benefits applicable to your specific situation are discussed in the consultation with Dr. Brown before any procedure is performed and are documented in the consent process. Do not undertake any procedure without that conversation.

5. Off-label and emerging treatments

Some treatments offered by the practice — including certain peptide therapies and select uses of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) — are not FDA-approved for the indications discussed and are provided as off-label, physician-supervised therapy. Where this applies, individual treatment pages disclose it. The off-label nature of these treatments is also discussed in the consultation. The published clinical evidence for off-label peptide therapies is limited; expectations should be calibrated accordingly.

6. Do not transmit medical information through this website

The contact form, the floating inquiry panel, and email to the office are not designed for the secure transmission of protected health information. Do not share specific medical conditions, photographs of medical concerns, medication lists, or other sensitive clinical information through these channels.

For clinical questions, call the office at (412) 659–0599 or schedule a consultation.

7. Emergencies

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, including a suspected vascular event after an injectable, an allergic reaction, or any concerning post-procedure symptom, do not use this website. Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department immediately, then notify the office.

8. Third-party content

The site includes embedded content from third parties (Square Appointments, Google Maps). External links are provided for reference only and do not constitute endorsement of the linked content. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or availability of third-party content.

9. Updates

This Disclaimer may be updated from time to time as our practice, services, or applicable law evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
